Must you give way when making a three-point turn in Belgium?

Yes. A three-point turn involves turning around and reversing, both of which are considered manoeuvres. The driver must therefore give way to other road users and only perform the manoeuvre when it can be completed safely.

Can you make a three-point turn where sign C33 is displayed in Belgium?

No. Sign C33 prohibits turning around from the sign up to and including the next intersection. A three-point turn is a method of turning the vehicle around and is therefore not permitted where this prohibition applies.

Can you make a three-point turn on a Belgian motorway or autoweg?

No. Both turning around and reversing are prohibited on motorways. The same prohibitions also apply on autowegen.
