Refund Policy
Effective date:
Version: 1.0
This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions purchased through traffic-rules.com and rijbewijs-online.be. It explains our 14-day money-back guarantee, how to request a refund and what happens after a refund is approved.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Fourteen-day money-back guarantee
All subscription plans, including short-term plans, include a 14-day full money-back guarantee.
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days after the original purchase. You do not need to provide a reason, although any feedback you provide may help us improve the Websites.
The guarantee remains available even if your subscription was activated immediately or the access period of a short-term plan has already ended.
2. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us at hostmaster@traffic-rules.com.
Please include enough information for us to identify your account and payment, such as:
- the email address associated with your account;
- the name of the subscription plan;
- the purchase or renewal date;
- the Paymentwall payment reference, when available;
- a brief description of the issue, when the request concerns a duplicate payment, accidental renewal or technical problem.
Do not send complete card details, passwords or other sensitive payment information by email.
3. Refund method
Approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method used for the purchase.
We cannot normally issue a refund to a different card, bank account, payment account or person.
Refunds are processed through Paymentwall and the relevant payment provider. Paymentwall, your bank, your card issuer or another financial institution may require additional processing time before the refunded amount appears in your account.
4. Refund processing time
We aim to review and process valid refund requests within 14 days after receiving the request and the information reasonably required to identify the payment.
If information is missing or the payment cannot be identified, we may ask you for additional details. This may delay processing until the necessary information is received.
After we approve and submit a refund, the time required for the amount to appear in your account is controlled by Paymentwall and the relevant financial institution.
5. Effect of a full refund
When a full refund is issued, access connected with the refunded purchase will end.
If the refunded payment relates to a recurring subscription, we may also cancel future automatic renewals connected with that subscription. You should nevertheless confirm that recurring billing has been cancelled through Paymentwall.
Refunding a subscription does not automatically close your Website account. You may separately request account closure by contacting us.
6. Subscription cancellation
Cancelling a recurring subscription prevents future automatic renewals but does not automatically refund an amount that has already been paid.
After cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
You can cancel recurring billing through the Paymentwall checkout page or through the subscription-management link included in the automatic payment confirmation email sent by Paymentwall.
If you cannot cancel through Paymentwall, contact us at hostmaster@traffic-rules.com.
7. Accidental renewals
If you believe that a subscription renewed accidentally, contact us as soon as possible and provide the relevant payment information.
We will review the renewal and, where appropriate, issue a refund through the original payment method. If a full refund is issued for the renewed period, access connected with that renewal will end.
Submitting an accidental-renewal request does not by itself cancel future renewals. You should also cancel recurring billing through Paymentwall.
8. Duplicate and incorrect payments
If you believe that you were charged more than once for the same purchase or charged an incorrect amount, contact us so that we can examine the payment records.
When a duplicate or incorrect charge is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate correction or refund.
9. Technical problems
If a technical problem prevents you from receiving or using paid access, please contact us promptly.
Depending on the circumstances, we may restore access, correct the problem, extend the access period, provide replacement access, issue a proportionate refund or provide a full refund.
Temporary interruptions that are resolved within a reasonable period do not automatically create a right to a full refund, but this does not limit any mandatory rights relating to paid digital services.
10. Refunds requested after 14 days
After the 14-day money-back guarantee has expired, refunds are not normally provided solely because you changed your mind, did not use the subscription or forgot to cancel before renewal.
We may still provide a refund or another suitable remedy in circumstances involving an accidental renewal, duplicate payment, incorrect charge, prolonged technical failure or another exceptional situation.
This section does not limit any mandatory refund, withdrawal, conformity or consumer rights available under applicable law.
11. Account suspension and misuse
Payments are not normally refunded when access is suspended or terminated because of fraud, attacks, unlawful activity or another serious or repeated violation of our Terms of Service.
This does not exclude a refund where one is required by applicable law.
12. Unauthorised payments
If you do not recognise a payment, contact us and Paymentwall promptly. You should also contact your bank, card issuer or payment provider when you believe that your payment method has been used without permission.
We may request information needed to identify the transaction and investigate the report. Payment providers may apply their own fraud, dispute and chargeback procedures.
13. Consumer rights
Our 14-day money-back guarantee is a voluntary guarantee intended to provide a straightforward refund process.
It does not replace, exclude or restrict any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law, including rights relating to withdrawal from an online service contract and remedies when a paid digital service does not conform to the contract.
14. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes to our subscriptions, payment provider, refund procedures, Websites or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date and version number.
Changes will not retroactively remove refund rights that applied to a purchase when it was made.
