1. 列車
列車は、鉄道線路上を走行し、乗客、貨物、またはその両方を運ぶ鉄道車両または連結された鉄道車両の編成です。専用の鉄道インフラ上を走り、踏切で道路と交差する場合があります。
線路へ近づく道路利用者は警告標識、遮断機、灯火、警報音に従い、完全に通過できない限り踏切へ進入してはいけません。列車は停止距離が長く、障害物を避けて操舵できません。
What is a train?
A train is a rail vehicle or connected group of rail vehicles that travels on railway tracks and transports passengers or goods.
Where can road traffic encounter trains?
Road users most commonly encounter trains at level crossings, where a road crosses one or more railway tracks.
What should you do when a train is approaching a level crossing?
Do not enter the crossing. Obey the barriers, warning lights and audible signals and wait until the crossing is open and it is safe to proceed.
