4. Bus stop
A bus stop is a designated place where buses stop to allow passengers to board or leave. It may be identified by a sign, shelter, raised platform, road marking or other public-transport infrastructure and can be located beside the road or in a specially constructed stopping area.
Drivers approaching a bus stop should watch carefully for buses, pedestrians and passengers crossing or entering the roadway. Parking or stopping restrictions may apply around bus stops to keep the area accessible and visible.

What stopping or parking restrictions apply at bus stops in Serbia?
Serbia prohibits stopping and parking at public-transport stops and within 15 metres before and after the road marking identifying the stop, subject to the Act’s provisions.

A private car has no general passenger-pick-up exemption in the protected stop area. The Act provides a specific exception for taxis for the time needed to board or alight passengers; it does not authorise waiting or parking.

In a built-up area, follow the Act’s provisions for public-transport vehicles entering traffic from a designated stop. Slow early, leave room and protect passengers near the vehicle.
