Een gebodsbord is een verkeersbord dat bestuurders aangeeft wat zij verplicht moeten doen. In plaats van handelingen te verbieden leggen deze borden verplichtingen op, zoals een bepaalde richting volgen, een specifieke rijstrook gebruiken of een minimumsnelheid aanhouden. Hun doel is verkeer veilig en efficiënt te geleiden door ervoor te zorgen dat alle weggebruikers hetzelfde vereiste gedrag volgen waar dat voor orde en veiligheid nodig is.
1. Verplichte rijrichting op de rotonde
Dit verkeersbord geeft de verplichte rijrichting op een rotonde aan. Het verkeer moet de richting van de pijlen volgen. Het bord bepaalt op zichzelf geen voorrang; volg de toepasselijke voorrangsborden, verkeerslichten en plaatselijke regels.

Dit verkeersbord geeft aan dat links of rechts afslaan verplicht is op het volgende kruispunt. Het verkeer mag links of rechts afslaan, maar niet rechtdoor rijden.

Dit verkeersbord geeft aan dat rechtdoor rijden verplicht is. Het verkeer moet rechtdoor rijden en mag op de plaats waarvoor het bord geldt niet links of rechts afslaan.

12. Begin van een minimumsnelheid
Dit verkeersbord geeft het begin van een minimumsnelheid aan. Weggebruikers waarop het bord van toepassing is, moeten wanneer de omstandigheden dat toelaten minstens de aangegeven snelheid rijden. Langzamer rijden kan nog steeds nodig zijn door verkeer, weer, wegomstandigheden of een andere veiligheidsreden.
