Дорожній знак — це стандартизований зоровий символ біля дороги для спрямування, попередження чи регулювання водіїв, велосипедистів і пішоходів. Він повідомляє про умови, правила, напрямки та небезпеки, підтримуючи безпеку й плавність руху. Форми й кольори різні: трикутні попереджувальні, круглі заборонні чи наказові, прямокутні інформаційні.
