A traffic sign is a standardised visual symbol placed along roads to guide, warn, or regulate drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. These signs provide essential information about road conditions, rules, directions, and potential hazards, helping to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow. Is a temporary speed limit at roadworks binding in Denmark?
Where an authorised temporary regulatory speed limit is in force, you must obey it. A roadworks warning alone should not be mistaken for a new numerical limit, but conditions may require driving more slowly.

1. Stop and give way
This traffic sign means stop and give way. You must come to a complete stop before entering the intersection and give way to traffic that has priority. Proceed only when it is safe.

At junctions, cyclists and riders of small mopeds lawfully using the cycle path may turn right without stopping onto the cycle path along the intersecting road's right side if this causes no inconvenience to other road users. At railway tracks the sign is placed below crossbuck A 74. Normally used with S 13 stop line; see section 59.

2. Give way
This traffic sign means give way. Slow down and give way to traffic that has priority. Stop if necessary and proceed only when it is safe.
