139. Greenway
A greenway is a route intended primarily for non-motorised travel, such as walking and cycling. Greenways are often created along former railway lines, canal towpaths, rivers, forest routes or other corridors separated from busy motor traffic.
Greenways are designed to provide a safe and comfortable route for recreation and everyday travel. Depending on local rules, they may also be accessible to riders, mobility users or certain authorised vehicles.
