330. Manoeuvres
Manoeuvres are driving movements in which a driver changes the vehicle's normal position or direction in traffic, such as changing lanes, entering or leaving a parking space, reversing, making a U-turn or entering the road from a property.
Before performing a manoeuvre, the driver should carefully observe surrounding traffic, signal when required and make sure the movement can be completed safely without endangering or unnecessarily obstructing other road users.

What is considered a driving manoeuvre?
Typical manoeuvres include changing lanes, entering or leaving a parking space, reversing, making a U-turn, crossing the roadway or entering traffic from a driveway or other property.
What should you do before performing a manoeuvre?
Check mirrors and blind spots, observe other road users, signal when required and make sure there is enough space and time to complete the movement safely.
Who has priority when a driver performs a manoeuvre?
In many traffic systems, a driver performing a manoeuvre must give way to road users already proceeding normally. The exact legal rule depends on the country and the type of movement.
